305 Trailers

'305' is a mockumentary detailing the misadventures of five not-so-brave members of the Spartan army charged with guarding a seemingly ordinary goat path. But when their actions lead to the death of King Leonidas and his army of 300 men, the five must find a way to redeem themselves and save Sparta from invasion.

Skunkyrate Gripping story with well-crafted characters
Gurlyndrobb While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

pmdawn Just so you know, I liked "300" and loved "Meet The Spartans". And still, when I came across this one, I thought "Man, this is going to be the worst movie ever".And that's the surprise: although there's minimal money and cast, these are set aside for a "spin-off" of sorts - about 5 Spartans that weren't in "300". From then on, it's not just a spoof, but a whole new story of its own. And, yes, funny. Maybe because everything is so damn absurd. It's shot in a mockumentary mode, and that adds to the silliness of everything. It's not for everyone's tastes though. If you don't like silly comedies that don't take anything seriously you won't like this.So if you don't mind the VERY low budget, you might find some unexpected laughs in here. I think they did a pretty good job.6/10
movieman_kev 305 tells the story of the 5 misfit Spartans who didn't make the cut due to them being too fat, blind, or just idiots. When they get a little overzealous and run off to fight some Persians, leaving the goat road they were tasked to watch unattended, the Persians make short work of the 300 and the 5 misfits are on the run. This spoof of both "300" as well as "the Office" was funny enough, for the most part, and I enjoyed it immensely more than the completely cinematic excrement that was "Meet the Spartans" despite the extremely low-budget of this film. Hey here's an idea, give the makers of THIS film $30,000,000 and let the extremely untalented duo of Friedberg and Seltzer have to scrounge up pocket change for Their so-called 'films' My Grade: B- DVD Extras: 2 Commentaries (one for the actors & one for the directors); the original 305 short; A making of; 'the lost interviews'; 3 deleted scenes; Cutting Room Floor; On the Road with the 305;Visual Effects Featurette; and Trailers for "Moola", "Niagars Motel", "Raising Genius", & "See this movie"
nitsua125 I just saw this movie and i loved it, first of all its very low budget. The whole thing was done on a green screen and although it may sound rubbish the overall effect is really good. The main characters are 5 pretty crappy Spartans who weren't at Thermopylae, instead they were given the task of guarding the secret goat pass, which they fail to do resulting in Leonidas and the 300 dying. They then become the laughing stock of Sparta and now Claudius, Darryl, Demetrius the Blind, Shazaam and Testicleese have to go on a heroic journey to show themselves as true Spartans with no weapons and no brains. Just the desire to prove themselves as warriors. Its a great comedy with loads of laugh out loud moments and a really hot girl. It has a big internet following and a growing amount of fans. Well worth watching in my opinion.
kthoran Just what the world needed... another "300" parody only this time make it extra lame. This particular one is not nearly as funny or interesting as "Meet the Spartans" which was actually a very fine and comical parody of "300".This version almost seems intent on being bad with the "five extra lost" Spartans being seriously un-Spartan-like and yes, even a special-ed kid would get that, but come on... who finances all these crappy movies? Avoid this stupidness like the plague, unless you liked "Hottie or Nottie" in which case, don't rent but buy the DVD. Everybody else can just say no.
