2016: Obama's America Trailers

The film examines the question, "If Obama wins a second term, where will we be in 2016?" Across the globe and in America, people in 2008 hungered for a leader who would unite and lift us from economic turmoil and war. True to Americas ideals, they invested their hope in a new kind of president, Barack Obama. What they didn't know is that Obama is a man with a past, and in powerful ways that past defines him--who he is, how he thinks, and where he intends to take America and the world.

CommentsXp Best movie ever!
HottWwjdIam There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
DonB-5 Russia issues and antagonism - ignored. Debt - ignored. Taking out serious threats like Iran's nuke program - ignored. Letting Israel stand alone. Funding and helping terrorist "rebels" in the middle east. Using all facets of government to target and attempt to destroy enemies (i.e. conservatives). Tax grabs while the economy is in ruins coupled with bald faced lies about the unemployment rate. Allowing massive illegal immigration - ignoring the problem.Corruption on a scale typically associated with banana republics. Brain washing of our youth (seems Germany did that in the 30s too). Playing the race card any time anyone disagrees with anything this admin does.Massive expansion of federal government. Violations of the constitution (example - the recess appointment issue). Ignoring the judicial system and their right to subpoena people for special hearings (happening right now). How can anyone with a brain not see the truth here?
barbourjohn-633-608932 Very good documentary about a very controversial President by a man that shares many similarities with Obama but none of the leftist, anti- colonial, anti-Christian, anti-capitalist biases of the President. I can't wait to see his new one; America: Imagine the World without Her. This documentary looks at Obama's background, influences, thinking, and actions and projects what kind of America we might have if he gets his way. The good thing is that no one ever gets his way for very long. For example: The third Reich only lasted a couple of Decades. In this country we still have many more checks and balances than did Germany. Never the less, it still is a troubling thought to think that we elected a man with such un-American ideas but what does one expect when post- modernism, hedonism, and leftist ideology dominate the nations universities. . It's really too bad that more documentaries aren't produced like this. Like most good movies and documentaries, I had to purchase my own copy because they are just not readily available in smaller markets. It would have been nice to see it on the big screen. Fortunately, the new movie is on the big screen and I hope to see it.
Afinso This isn't worthy of being labeled as Documentary. What is presented in this film are isolated facts to prove an initial theory: 'Obama's Anti- Colonialism'. The presentation of this facts disregards every method of Social and Political Sciences Studies (which isn't surprising giving the directors' Academic background). Flagrant examples (among many) of this lack of credible method are statements that Obama's so-called support for Argentina in the Falklands conflict and of the downgrade of oil drilling in the US favoring South American Countries explorations is one proof of this Anti-Colonialism. If the director had researched these 'facts' a little bit better he would have known that some Specialists see these examples as a form of American Colonialism. Some regard the American 'support' to Argentina as a form of securing the exploration of the South Atlantic natural resources for American companies and the same can be said for the Brazilian oil reserves. But these views aren't relevant for the premise of the theory so it's best to disregard them. The most amusing part of this is Obama's brother interview. The questions asked were obviously trying to lead the answers to the sensationalist conclusion that Obama's brother had been abandoned in poverty by the President but the simplicity and intelligence of the interviewee destroyed those tactics in marvelous way just by stating that he was and adult capable of taking care of himself and that if is brother was trying to do good things to the World in the end he was doing good for him. The anger in the eyes of Mr D'Souza eyes was very entertaining. Thank God Portuguese is an always evolving Language otherwise me and Mr. D'Souza would share the same family name (which obviously has Portuguese origins) and that would be a shame on that name. I'm sure my Grandfather (a high regarded Historian) would roll in his grave if he knew the name he loved so much was involved in such disrespect for the Science he admired and lived for. In conclusion I rated 2016: Obama's America 2/10 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2247692 #IMDb
Hollywoodshack Danesh D'Sousa puts together a multi media lecture based on his book. A lot of the facts are conjecture about people Obama knew growing up, and he pins him down using guilt by association. He knew a communist in Hawaii three years before entering college. Does that make Obama a communist? He knew a radical student activist in Chicogo linked to some terrorist plots. Does that make him a terrorist? He knew Jeremiah Wright, a racist minister, and does that make him one, too? The interviews of important people on the phone was irritating. Just filming them in the room or with some of the flashy visuals would have been better. There were so many real news events with disappointing responses from Obama that could have been shown here. I really don't buy the idea he's acting on an anti-colonial plan inspired by his father he only knew as a small child. Comparing this with Obama's current record was an interesting theme, but still, a better lecture than a movie. I might add that our so called "liberal" democrats like John Kerry that say we should vote for Obama because he killed someone (Bin Laden) made better statements of why I won't vote for him.
