As a teenager and into my early twenties I was heavily influenced by Osho's books. Think for yourself, be true to yourself, don't fit it just because you have to fit in, learn to celebrate life, accept the New as gift, etc.It was an exceptional experience to watch this documentary.I loved that the filmmakers used old footage, facts, articles, that they interviewed people who were directly involved in the story. They showed both sides of the story, thus letting you decide for yourself. It's a brilliant picture..for me it portrays in a great way the dichotomy of "the moral" or "the teachings of the Master" on one hand and the real life on the other.Morals, beliefs, loyalty, friendship etc are all very beautiful poetic words, but usually they go at a cost that few people are willing to pay in real life.the greatest value of this film is how this dichotomy is portrayed with "facts and figures". It's up to you to decide how you will take the film. I love it.

I'm sorry. This was horribly done. I will say the subject matter was really interesting and there was a lot of promise. There were just too many things just glossed over--puzzling to me when you have 6+ hours and instead choose to tell 5 versions of the same event which only has 2 sides (and they did that for every event). After watching the whole thing, I still have no idea what they believed in, how people even found this guy , why they were so enamored with him etc. That would have been a good place to start for the first episode. It was overly (almost sickeningly) pro-Rajaneesh. Here are these fun loving people that the old people hate. Never really got it to what they did that upset the townspeople so much. Guess that kills the narrative of victimized cult members. Nice that they presented people from the other side tho, but the seemed like a "I guess we have to" decision. . That whiny lawyer was annoying AF. The events were so disjointed--"they won't let us vote so let's poison all of them". Well that escalated quickly. ",Sheela loves bagwhan. Bagwhan loves sheela". -3 min later--Oh now he hates her and she's moving to Germany. Uh, where did that come from ?(please don't @ me with the details , I know the story -I'm just trying to make that point that some things were soooo drawn out and then important connecting events were just glossed over). I really wanted to like it , and I held in to the end. There was just to much emotional stuff and not enough facts.

Despite the fact that some twists and story elements are overexpressed, the show brings the patient viewer some real questions, facts and dilemmas about the world we live in.

Absolutely Amazing Documentary, the emotions, gripping soundtrack, Captivating footages about Rajneeshees, the peaceful, free loving Sanyasins from all over the world.
Its sad that How those old bigoted Conservative people at antelope targeted, provoked, tried to destroy Rajneeshees and Rajneeshpuram, along with U.S. govt. from the pressure of conservative Churches witch hunted Rajneeshees and this exposed their hypocrisy,
we feel sad about the nice Rajneesh Lawayer Prem Niren, and at the end of the story which is very emotional.
