Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
HottWwjdIam There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Marva-nova Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
imperialguard Have you ever wondered about that musician or group that had a hot song or album, but then they disappeared from the spotlight? Ever wondered the causes of the disappearance? Then this is your show. A lot of sources can give you the early life bios and successes, but this show gives the details of what happens in those "dark years", the years after the music stops. And what caused the music to stop, whether it be studio politics and/or personal demons. Also, the delight of this series is that it focuses on the talented, yet forgotten stars. Everyone knows the Luther Vandross, the Marvin Gaye, the Billie Holliday, and the Diana Ross. But what about Phyllis Hyman, Donny Hathaway, DeBarge, etc..., prepare yourself for some enlightening, entertaining, and at times saddening, moments while watching this.
