    StunnaKrypto Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.
    Breakinger A Brilliant Conflict
Murphy Howard I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
ryangordonmacpt I know I'll probably catch hell for this but I really like this show IMO, I also like UK version as well, the only thing I don't like is that that they don't do enough episodes per season. This is one show on History I don't miss. I just like the way they do the show, I know the UK version is different but that's what I like, I like them both very much. The banter between the three I find to be very entertaining I do wish that they show the STIG more often, but I'm sure he has obligations with the UK Top Gear. I would also like to see the U.S. version bring back the car challenges like they did in the first season towards the end of the show.
Lev Moody Everyone is ripping so hard on this show but it has gotten better!Sure it could use more elements from the UK version (I'm a big fan of Top Gear UK) but they would be hard to implement at this stage. For example, the whole star in a reasonably priced car thing.. the show isn't that popular yet for something like that! I bet if its on for a while you can bring in a dedicated test track and have some stars come on. Just give it a bit more time. I love the guys.. they are all witty and they ARE passionate about cars.. just in their own way. I hope it never gets canceled..carry on the good work chaps!
chris-5627 The Cast: This is a car show and you need car people. Adam simply doesn't belong on this show and it is clear that he doesn't care about cars. I could forgive him the first season but he has not made any improvement. Rutledge appears to genuinely know about cars but unfortunately he cannot drive. Get that kid some lessons because you can't have driving challenges with two captain slows. Tanner is a great driver and he cocky attitude plays well on the screen but he needs to stop cheating. The show is about cars, not his ego. The Challenges: I love the concept of all the challenges. They are creative things that America's youth would be interested in. However the show needs to stay true to the challenge. If the budget is $5,000 for a car, you cannot give a host a late model Mercedes (salvage title or not, it's way over budget). Pick something any one of us could find on CraigsList. Also, the cheating needs to stop. Viewers are interested in seeing how the host's selections match up. The show should be about the cars so revealing the well known strengths and flaws of comparable vehicles is what made the UK Top Gear so great. The Reviews: I hate to say it but this part of the show is pretty lame. These segments should be fueled by pure desire for speed and excitement but none of the hosts can pull off a narrative. Stop filming them and just show the car in all it's beauty. I don't need to see Tanner's face between each shot (it's pretty clear that it is always Tanner who narrates because he cheats to win and is the only host they would dare hand the keys to a performance car). What's Missing: The show needs to capture the attention of today's youth and help build interest in cars and racing. Documenting outlets for racing and getting these hosts into the scene is the only way to do that. Have them pick autocross cars for $5,000 and make them go to an actual autocross event. Have them go ice racing in the northern states. Show the viewers what its like to attend a track day at your local race track. In other words, pick challenges that are realistic for the average viewer and document the specifics of them. There are a lot of affordable outlets in motorsports that are missing from this show that the original Top Gear was able to capitalize on. Of course it helps when you have hosts that can actually drive.
j_lutes The only reason why so many people are hating on this show is simply because the original is foreign, which to simple minded idiots, automatically makes it a better show, kind of like Dr. Who. This is despite the fact that the original is full of old guys and cars that most of us will never drive in places that most of us in the US will never go to. At least the American version is filmed in the US (for the most part) and mostly uses cars that most of us are likely to have driven in our lifetimes. If you want to watch some rich old men drive cars that you will never own, than by all means, watch the original. If, however, you want to watch something that you can actually relate to with vehicles that you'll probably own someday (if you haven't already) and places that you could likely visit someday, then you should definitely watch the American version.
