Nirav Modi If you box this the perfect show for you, if you don't box its still a perfect show for you. Mostly males don't get caught into reality TV but me and six of my friends watch it together every week with some chips and soda. This show brings the troubles boxers go through in their life. Their dreams slowly turning into reality. There is nothing missing from this show, you see everything you would expect. You see them evolve,and like real life there is betrayal, deception, hatred, friendship,sportsmanship, love, Heart, "Swagger", etc. The fighting, camera angles, music is very good. No regrets on the trainers, sparring partners? Its a great show for anybody Period.

tacoulson i thought contender was wicked show one of the best , the rematches were good to but Wat the hell was that decision about peter loosing that fight all the million's u made and u couldn't get any good judges, peter won that fight Wat went wrong,he was so much better than Sergio and deserved nothing more than the right decision,also i rather ed Jessy Thant the bullet but Wat was that Jessy lost so sort it out. i was so exited to here about the rematches u spoilt it by not getting good judges. other than that cool series my favoured show. Sylvester Stallone totally is the best action star ever to live in Hollywood Arnold sweeteners doesn't even compare to him one bit he is so good hes my favoured actor ,the rocky films and Rambo r the best of all time, my comments Rn meant to put him down ,just the jugs sucked.

vampcrw The show was great but u should of had it on "spike t.v.". thats the real man show and you would be shock to see how many women watch it as well. something like the contender should have never been on NBC. yes it was a great starting point but it would have done even better on spike t.v. and you could have done more. i seen shows that been gone for years now they are on spike and doing almost better then when they first came out. its just a thought and i don't know if you'll ever see this but if you do you should do a poll and see for your self. thanks for a really great show and great movies. please think about it i know there was guys waiting for a shot to get started like that. \ sincerely VampireCrow Thomas Ostrander

thiu i was pleasantly surprised when i saw this series. i didn't expect much except for some boxing, instead it was more than that. It has conflict, drama and action. It's really pretty exciting but most of all really is that this show has heart. You really see the spirit of how these fighters want to go beyond themselves and achieve something for themselves and their loved ones. I greatly admire them and even though I have a favorite which is Sergio, it's really hard seeing one of the players go even anthony. If you're watching the show, you'd know that he's the dad who wants to win at all costs. At first when he betrayed the east and west team, i really hated him. It was a done deal that he was going to fight Jimmy, instead he chose Brent. I felt that he was a coward and used his children as a scapegoat. But he was just eliminated and I felt so sad for him because he tried so hard and he really wanted to win for his children. he tried his best but sometimes that really isn't good enough. And all these players, not only anthony understand that the lost wasn't really a lost because they fought great. I really am looking forward to each episode. I can't remember any series right now that is this good. They really went all out on this. The quality of the show is really good. Well i guess it should be, i heard it costs 2 million each episode.
