    Ehirerapp Waste of time
Motompa Go in cold, and you're likely to emerge with your blood boiling. This has to be seen to be believed.
Janae Milner Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
janwiginton i have never laughed more than the "TO KOENJI" scene in this TV comedy. i highly recommend this series for anyone who liked arrested 90210 development, or any other slightly off-the-wall comedy. best ever. since i have to write more, i will let you know that the claire character from 90210 appears as the co-producer of the independent film in this zany comedy. i enjoyed her on 90210 and i've really liked her in this TV show as well. the main man, vick morganstein, is also an excellent actor, and i would say, for the most part that all the actors are cast really well. i really hope you'll give this show a try, as i don't think enough really great shows like this exist.
Slater I'm really impressed with this show and with IFC. I accidentally started watching "The Business" because it was on after Laura Kightlinger's "Minor Accomplishments" show. I starting watching her show because I heard her plugging it on the Opie and Anthony radio show. The O&A radio show has a connection to her through Jim Norton who worked with her on HBO's "Lucky Louie" show. Anyway, once I tuned in, it wasn't long before I set my Tivo to record both of the IFC shows each week.I'd previously seen an episode or two of "The Festival", which I guess was the precursor to "The Business", and it didn't really hold my attention. But now, after enjoying "The Business" so much, I'm wondering if I should have given "The Festival" more of an opportunity. That being said, I just added the DVD of "The Festival" to my Netflix queue.Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised by the writing and acting. The dialog and interaction between characters really made me happy. I was also very impressed with the actors, most of whom were basically unknown to me, but they all did a great job. I should note that leaving such positive feedback is a departure for me as I'm typically very cynical and jaded. I just didn't realize that IFC was airing such quality content in the form of original (I think) series. I hope there will be more to come.
tjradio Hilarious show. This is one of those gems that you feel truly lucky to have stumbled across. The show follows recent Judaic convert Vic Morgan(now Morganstein), a former smut peddler who is trying to go legit in the movie business. Of course Vic will have to run the gamut of problems including foreign investors, temper tantrums, and a very special request to cast a porn star as his movie's lead. Will Vic make it?The uptight producer with a history of alcoholism, the director who thinks winning some film festival makes him a commodity, the idiot actor who actually is dumber than he acts, all of these spot-on character portrayals make this series one of the funniest on television. Give this one half a chance and it will surely soon be listed amongst your favorites.
sludgehound Pretty much is what the description states. The prior series Thr Festival (IFC too) took me awhile to get you but this one has me from beginning. Just enough insight and fresh attitude to pack a fast half hour. All the majors work and writing keeps it going. Hardly aware it us Canada based. This is the edge The Office should have had. What helps too is the lead in half hour. Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman. It's a riot. I mean what the heck are they gonna get to next? This one is esp adult and on the edge of pushing the cable limits. I like that both casts seem to be enjoying what they are all doing. Keeps it fresh and natural. Like being there. And they held me even as Yanks-Red Sox were battling in what is becoming the longest game in baseball. Yanks 14-10 going to 9th. They played two games. 1pm and 8pm Fri then 1p Sat. Yow.
