alpuri-1 so what did happen to Jackie and Banks??? r they still together?? why do these programs never follow the couple up?? thats what the viewers are interested in!!!!!!!!!!!! i only started watching the program half way through, but managed to get hooked on to it . was great breakfast viewing when u don't want to really have anything heavy on when u are half asleep. what is it with programs that get u interested in the ending only to leave the couple as soon as the decision has been made...we want to know what happens afterwards....does the romance last or was it really only for the money that these people went into the show!!!!!!
recentlyg Ill tell you the series started out fairly interesting.. it was quite fascinating to see people's opinions of the twist and hearing the "bachlorette" saying " i don't think a gay guy will kiss me " hmm can she count the zero's in one million dollars...they would french with farm animals..what is most annoying is that since this is a reality show with a set broadcasted time frame - ending it 8-10 weeks early just doesn't cut it... They just started building up to something that was becoming interesting to watch.. if they are going to commit to a series they should stick with it ... they did the same thing with the "forever eden" show... how poorly do these people plan....You start something - finish it....even if they reschedule it late late evenings... just give people a chance to complete the series...
xavrush89 So let me get this gay, a bunch of men are going to behave like boors in order to convince each other that they are NOT gay, and the woman in the center of all gets to PICK one? Sheesh. They ALL come across as mean spirited (this is a Fox reality show after all), and prove without fail that looks aren't everything. The sad thing is, Jackie (our hero) does not even seem to be looking for a man with whom she genuinely has chemistry, she only cares to find a man who flaunts that he is clearly heterosexual, and that is never a good sign.It may sound like good cheap thrills, but all that ridiculous macho posturing got old REALLY fast. I looked at the clock and noted the exact time during the second episode I stopped caring about any of it (7:28).
preppy-3 I was expecting the worst--a woman has to choose between fourteen hunky, handsome men. The twist--some of them are gay. If she picks a straight guy--they split a million dollars. If she picks a gay guy he gets it all. This has to be done very carefully--it can easily slip over into homophobia and if they take it too seriously--forget it. For the record, I'm a gay guy. This was done very well and isn't TOO serious. I was afraid the straight guys would keep going on and on about how they were straight and no way would ANYONE think they were gay. But they had all of the guys admitting to having certain effeminate qualities and there was NO homophobia in sight. I'm just going by the first episode though. Also she asked two STRAIGHT guys to leave. She thought they were gay--so did I!The way it's looking this might actually knock down those stereotypes of how gay men "look" and "act". Can't wait to see how it turns out!My only complaint--like most reality TV shows, the final elimination round that ends each episode look like it's going to last FOREVER!
