Livestonth I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Bea Swanson This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Ella-May O'Brien Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
momto42003 I love this show and love that it is showing that pitts are not the vicious dogs people think they are. However, I am afraid it is going to backfire because this show has gone completely scripted. I was searching for info about Amanda that appeared on the show and found her page. She does improv and is a model/actress. Her bio stated that she would be performing on a reality show for animal planet. It was listed as Pit Boss (Scripted Reality) "Amanda" - Casting Asst. Animal Planet . I don't know why they cant leave a good thing alone. As a scripted TV show, It is funny but Shorty had such an amazing life and I wish it was the real thing.
Elswet This is a show I find time to watch. Shorty has a great heart and a loud mouth; an odd but appealing combination. Kind of like a small version of Della Reese. He loves his sister, he loves his crew, and he loves his dogs. Sounds like a simple formula, but when you combine that with his two businesses (Shortywood, a talent agency for Little People used to fund Shorty's Rescue his pit bull rescue service) the mix becomes volatile and interesting. The interactions between Shorty and his staff show a high degree of camaraderie but not without some entertaining personality conflicts. Each team member has his or her own agenda, which could ultimately take them away from Shorty's world, or will send them scurrying back behind Shorty's protective wrath. Either way, it's a fun ride, with a lot of heart, and some great human (and animal) interest content.I personally love this show - a rarity for me, since I don't typically watch TV, much less reality-type shows. I have to admit tho, that Shorty's world is totally captivating...as is Shorty, the man.See it. Watch it. Love it.It rates a 9.8/10 (on the TV scale) from...the Fiend:.
blues11-874-916599 Pit Boss is a touching blend of inter-office behavior, personal development, humor, compassion, and love for animals and friends.Shorty Rossi is a perfect example of a hardworking Type-A Manager. He manages 2-businesses ("Shorty's Pit Bull Rescue" and "Shortywood Productions"), and it's clear that Shorty wants things done his way, on time, with no issues or complaints. At the same time, he has a generous and sensitive side; He supports his team, and at the end of the day, he shows his appreciation. Bottom line, it's all about his love for dogs and his passion to better their lives. And his. Shorty had a difficult upbringing, leading to poor decisions that showed him a life he would prefer to leave in his past. Fortunately, he turned his life around and let his passion drive his career, and with the support of his team, and his sister, he's on the right path.Shorty's team is an interesting blend of personalities; Ronald, Sebastian, and Ashley are friends and work partners with varying strengths and qualities. They work well together, more as friends than co-workers, and their interactions and antics while supporting Shorty are both touching and hilarious. While Shorty shouts demands from his office, his team makes light of the situation and it leaves you smiling. While working full-time for Shorty, each team member has their own goals they'd like to prioritize, and they're trying to keep Shorty happy in the process. Ashley is a budding comedian, Ronald's an actor-in-training, and Sebastian, an actor with an ever-growing list of unforeseen talents, would like to fly a plane, and find more time for his girlfriend.Together they get the job done, and putting aside Shorty's past, pain, and shouting, we see honest care and affection between friends and pets, and you'll always see a great smile on Shorty's face. Each week we learn something new about Shorty and his team. It's a great watch, and you never know what's next. Leave it to Animal Planet to find another way for us to love and support animals! We're hooked, and looking forward to next Saturday!
