Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Sarita Rafferty There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
Skyler Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
kartiksharma139 This show was legend and still is ! There were lots of mahabharata serieals after this but nothing can beat this masterpiece, no matter how much time u watch this u cant get bored. I cant rewatch any movie of serial except some few and this is one of them. Old is gold and latest is trash. Its pure simple and characters look real. While im todays serials overacting, useless music over drama, they are not watchable.
Nachiket Bhagwat I have seen many series in my small life, some Indian but mostly foreign. And I must say none of them can compare to BR Chopra's Mahabharata.I have grown up watching this series as a kid but the memory faded in time. Since then I have read many versions of this epic and been mesmerized by the complexity of each character. And I thought can someone do justice to each of the character. And I was surprised when year's later I laid my eyes on this gem. The Mahabharata story is epic in itself. But BR Chopra has done justice to every character. Especially, Krishna, Bhishma and Duryodhana seems just like I imagined. We have 100 episodes of 40 minutes long. But the series doesn't appear to be dragged out at any point compared to other Indian imitations of Ramayana and Mahabharata. The story from the books remains intact without getting extra spices added or omission of any important detail.Lastly, I was surprised to see epic final battle without use of special effects. I imagine Indian film industry was not well equipped at that time and to create this masterpiece in that era was astonishing work. Hats off to all the cast and crew.I always thought that Mahabharata deserves very good direction. It will exceed LOTR and GoT movies if done properly. And thanks to BR Chopra, now I don't have to wait for anything. Its already done. 25 years ago. :)
Ram Krishan Sharma It is a must watch TV Series with a lot things to learn. Each Episode is very interesting and brings a new twist ,which makes it more interesting.I enjoyed watching this series about epic war in old Indian times. The story itself"MAHABHARATA" deals with DHARMAS and KARMAS of a human. NOT A TAKE A OATH WITHOUT GIVING IT DEEP THOUGHT. HOW A warrior dies to complete his oath. HOW a man kills his family to complete DHARMA. GEETA a complete bible of dharma by LORD KRISHNA. EKLAVAYA who learned "dhanurvidhya" just because of his passion to it and gifted his thumb to guru as "gurudakshina". every moment learns a new moral. .if you have the time to watch it consistently, and give it your attention. This is a very demanding piece of work-- there are many characters, and many plots going on simultaneously. Stop watching for a few days and you might just forget what was going on. Nevertheless, this is an amazing piece of work, incredibly moving, and affecting like very few works before it. I can't overstate how incredibly emotional the experience of watching it from beginning to end was; the ending, in particular, is a extremely powerful.
