Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
Bene Cumb
As I tend to like Scandinavian - Swedish and Danish, above all - crime series, I try to watch as many as possible, realising, however, that not all of them are great (true, I have seen no dull or silly ones so far). Having seen dozens of them by now, I feel pleasant to assert that Oskyldigt dömd is among the better, the more interesting ones. Particularly due to 2 main reasons: interesting origin (a controversial professor of criminal law who leads a class assisting the convicted in fighting for their innocence) and the performance by Mikael Persbrandt as Professor Markus Haglund(he runs rings around others even if less time on screen). At times, the latter is a kind of lessening feature, interfering in creating an even set of performances, but it does not become annoying, sometimes "ironing out" plain and dubious elements, as well as clichés in plots. The most pleasant female performance is Marie Richardson as public prosecutor Ulrika Stiegler. As regards the members of the student team, I am unable to point out whose performance was "better", perhaps Sofia Ledarp had a more "mature" character to play. So, take your time and try to watch all 24 episodes in succession - your comprehension will be better as there are not too many flashbacks used, but personal relations do not begin and end within a episode like cases dealt with.
