StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Micah Lloyd Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.
Matylda Swan It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
atrotet-2 I was a bit concerned about making a review for a yet not complete series. So concider my thoughts to be relevant to the first show. I had seen the promo on SBS but was a bit surprised by its qualities about a taboo subject.Although I am a recent Australian (arrived 8 years ago), I have always been fascinated by Australian history and the 'white Australia' policy. After speaking about it to my young Aussie friends, I was stunned that very few of them knew much about it. I really encourage every Aussie to watch it.Very looking forward to next Sunday!
