FuzzyTagz If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
Chirphymium It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional
Bumpy Chip It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Caryl It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
rebew_nad Hometime is a wonderful show because as they say... Real people, and real projects. No standing around to watch some contractor do it... (ok sometimes) but all the team is down in the dirt!Hometime is now on Syndication across the world as well as PBS. For local times and listings, please visit http://www.hometime.com (their homepage). Right on the homepage, are drop down lists. If you are in Canada, Try TitanTV.comOtherwise you could visit TVguide.comPS, they have a ton of video on line with How-to stuff in their video library~
jeffy-6 "Hometime" is the best home improvement show I have ever seen. It is a lot more down-to-earth than many other shows and the projects they do are more what the average homeowner might encounter. Dean Johnson and Robin Hartl do a great job of demonstrating and also entertaining and make it fun to watch. If you haven't seen "Hometime" before please give it a try.
Rojan The hosts are good and let us "do it yourselfers" that we can do it.Dean Johnson is great I hope new episodes will be available since most episodes we see in Canada are between 1990 and 1993.
