I loved this show from the very first episode. I was very iffy about watching it but have like all the other shows that have come on the CW so i gave it a shot and was addicted. I like how they show how crazy and difficult the life of a doctor can be but they also show how down to earth they are during all of their constant craziness. It was really easy to fall in love with the characters.I have heard that they are not going to sign it for a second season. How can they do that after letting it end like they did. I think a lot of people would agree. We need to see what happens next for Emily. Don't CANCEL YET! I WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I'm sad that next week is the first season finale. I look forward to this show each week. As another reviewer said, it just puts a smile on your face while you are watching. Another plus is you root for and learn to love the "not popular" girl. The one who isn't so flashy. That ads to the fun!The show is about people. The hospital is fine background. I did love Grey's Anatomy during the early years but I don't think of this as being more of the same. I think it's Mamie Gunther as Emily Owens that makes the difference. The supporting cast is enjoyable too. Nothing too original here, but you'll enjoy it, I promise!

I'm devastated to find out this show is cancelled. Most TV now-a-days has unlikeable characters and even worse: clichéd plots. Emily Owens is cleverly written and leaves the audience feeling refreshed.Mamie's character is likable and her acting is not only excellent, but surprisingly unique on TV. Her facial expressions are spot on.Yes, there are heaps of medical shows available, but just as Suits shines as a law series, Emily Owens MD is the best hospital show since Scrubs and House. More akin to scrubs than any drama, the CW is doing a terrible job of promoting Emily Owens. Not to mention, that the CW is not a network that normally carries this type of series. Perhaps now that Scrubs is cancelled, Scrubs' network can take on Emily Owens.

Love this show. It has comedy, drama, and a little romance. I do not want it to get canceled. They should give it more time before they pull the plug. They are just now starting to let you really get to know the characters. This show is completely relatable and draws you into it. It has variety in characters and their portrayer's. It has the mean girl, the jock, the lesbian, the jerk of a boss, the nice guy, and the awkward sweetheart. My husband and I enjoy watching this show together every week. There have been several shows that start off week and gain in popularity, NCIS had low ratings to start with and is now the #1 show on TV. Give it a shot, don't cancel it.
