    Intcatinfo A Masterpiece!
RipDelight This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Brennan Camacho Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
sophia henderson (dragonsofthecave) When you first hear dragon booster your like "what?" but it's not what you might think, no fire blazing or flying going on in here. It's about a 16 year old Artha who is considered a "stable boy" but one day when a opposing crew attacks the stables his father owns he gets chosen by a gold dragon called Beau to become the "Dragon Booster" a hero meant to stop a Dragon Human war from happening. To become stronger he enters dragon street races to build up his dragon and get into the "Academy".As far as violence dragons bash around during races and the hero fights different opponents here and there but it's not graphic.Graphics aren't movie quality and they make mistakes here and there but it is very stylistic and colorful. 3\5Plot. the show is very fast past mostly because the show starts at a further point than others do but they unravel the past as it goes along and shows a plot for the future but they have canceled the Dragon Booster Academy series . The current series has around 37 episodes. 5\5Recommendation. I think it's best for teenagers or tweens. And I think you should rent it first and see if you like it. Otherwise i would recommend watching it.
Dick Biggins Dragons. Now and for a long time a popular mythical creature. It has been fairly common for fantasy settings to involve controlling and taming these beasts. The idea of riding a flying, armoured fire breather is quite appealing.Dragon booster however takes this idea to the next level. The dragons for one aren't the most typical class you would expect. In this universe dragons are lizard like horses as well as raptors, hued in the full spectrum. But what makes these dragons truly magical is their ability to use electromagnetism including high tech gear. These dragons are used in a variety of competitions in all shapes an sizes. What makes dragon booster different is dragons are used for racing as well as fighting. This makes things nice an even with races being just as exciting as fighting and means the skills for both are translatable. Here humans and dragons live together but there is a threat that dragons and humans would go to war. The heroes are generally about unison and teamwork with he dragons and each other. The character are generally a goofy fun bunch but a lot of them do show signs of complexity. The whole show is full cg cell shaded which makes everything stand out quite well.Plot did move along nicely and the characters were always gaining something even the villains.Dragon booster is really successful in making its own mythos with the idea of mag energy being as tied in with the world as the force in star wars. The long winding city with massive pitfalls and bright neon lights is certainly something. Along with the massive array of varied dragon types and designs.Unfortunately this show was doomed before it could truly mature. But the conclusion of dragon booster it was the final in entering the next stage of their evolution. They had all hyped up about this next stage which sadly never came to fruition. As a show its fairly good but its really sad to think what could have been.
atomius When i first saw this, as usual it took time for the glorious graphics to stand aside so i could really scan it's true side. And it's nothing bad, mind you. The plot concerns Artha Penn and his friends who fight the evil forces of Dragon City with 'mag' energy and 'draconium' bonemarks etc. Behind the fictional technobabble it is about a boy turned hero and his fight to stop a second dragon-human war from breaking out. The animation is one of the best things, and it is fairly well made. The setting reflects the racing culture, with speedways and dragon tracks looping and winding through a cityscape as they would in a video game, yet the plot remains with a certain amount of depth to give it a meaning, like the viking legends. All in all the show is worth watching, and, if you like fast paced cartoons it's fine.
SonicStuart At first when I started seeing ads for Dragon Booster saying that it was coming to ABC Family I wasn't sure if was going to be anything good. But when I checked out the pilot episode I thought the series was good. This series is about a teenager named Artha Penn who lives in a timeless world where dragons and humans co-exist. Artha Penn was plunged into a extraordinary adventure when he was the chosen one to ride Beaucephalis, the dragon of legend (or sometimes called Beau for short). It was then Artha's life was changed when he transformed into a legendary hero known as the Dragon Booster! Artha's quest is to save the world from a war and uniting dragons and humans forever and racing to win dragon races where the 12-ton reptiles go fast at 200 miles per hour. The animation I thought was really well done and the voice acting is not bad! But all and all it is a pretty neat cartoon!
