OK first of all, Lisa Butcher was a good choice for presenter during series 1 but did the audience really know who she was? No. Did they therefore value her opinion on who should stay and go? Not really, but that's not the point. She is a model whether we have heard of her or not and did a good job as presenter. But I, for one, am very pleased that Lisa Snowdon took over as host in series 2, because as good as Butcher was, far more of the audience had heard of Snowdon beforehand, making the show more popular than the first series. The photography and money spent on the show could have been a lot better/more, but for what it was (i.e. a show to find a girl to win a modelling contract with Models1 management) it was a very good show.Obviously nothing will beat America's Next Top Model, as this was the original and with a much bigger budget, and a much more interesting, colourful and lovable panel of judges. Pus, of course, the amazing Tyra Banks. But credit where credit is due, we Brit's give it a good go! 8/10

Although the show was horribly low budget with very bad photographers etc it was very watchable. I disagreed with just about all of the judging though. Marisa was my favourite as she had a character, she did not swear or bitch and had an unusual strong look. I recall her modelling a few years back and she was great. It was a pity the show decided to keep the empty headed ones in and got rid of the vaguely intelligent girls first but this is a light entertainment show and Iguess they did what they set out to do. I really think that if it was provided with the gloss and glamour pf the US series it would be even better because despite it being so poorly thought out and cheap the girls were entertaining and worked it more than the American girls do. They were very diverse and the girls like Marisa and Claire were very dryly amusing.
