RipDelight This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.
Usamah Harvey The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Aneesa Wardle The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Chris LaChance This is absolutely THE BEST animated comedy of the 2010s. I don't understand how it was cancelled. From the comedic minds of Tosh and Spongebob; this show delivers a pack-a-punch in every stanza. I've snarfed so many drinks while watching this my monitor looks like Old Gregg's stockings. Malloy is hilarious, Woody is a great cast to bounce comedic genius off of. Each episode gets better and better. There is intellectual dialogue, slapstick, and punchlines that remind me of mid 2000s South Park and Family Guy. The show has extreme gore, wonderful language, and original plots. Each character is used perfectly, and the actors NAILED their performances. I wish all shows were as fresh and fun to watch as Brickleberry.
Matias Heskestad I love the crude humour and characters, and the jokes are improvised quite well. They are not afraid to have the edgy satire and try out some dry humour that mostly works well. The problem is some of the characters just come off as they think they are funny by saying one sly comment. I have a problem with Malloy particularly, he just is not funny(Daniel Tosh is not really a funny person anyways). I also dislike the Ethel character, she is not funny at all, however she is a great prop for the "slut jokes". The characters I really like is the two rednecks (forgot their name). Woody is a pretty funny character because his life is really messed up. Steve is the star. I feel bad for him sometimes but he acts so stupid and carefree as he goes on with his day. He is just really funny because of how socially delusional he is. Denzel could sometimes be funny, he is more like smirk funny because he is just obviously stereotypical. Connie is a really hilarious character, in a way related to Steve. Connie says hilarious lesbian stuff and i feel bad for her sometimes. When she runs away screaming is one of my favourite moments of the character. Overall, I would say it is a nice funny show to watch, sit back and crack a beer.
Chappy Watched I'm actually surprised that I didn't hate this show! For me, it's not as good as the early day Family Guy or Bob's Burgers but is better than American Dad and Chozen (now that was a sh*t! show). To me at least, it does't have any stand out voices on the show. In most of the other animated shows (Family Guy, American Dad), I usually know of at least one actor. It contains a mix of the stuff that made Family Guy awesome in the beginning but does have some stuff that makes it cringe-worthy and crap like the newer Family Guy seasons. It is a good show but it isn't something I would watch again or own on DVD. Might watch Season 2 somewhere down the track.
blytheandferb That title sums things up. I don't hate adult animation. In fact, I like shows like Futurama, Rick And Morty, and American Dad. Unfortunately, the mindset of most adult cartoons these days is to throw in as much gore and raunch as possible because it's "grown up". That is not grown up. That's immature, and shows like Brickleberry show why. The idea behind these people working at a nature park has a lot of ideas for storytelling and jokes, but it's wasted on tasteless shock humor and bad morality. Every single episode is poorly written and panders to the lowest common dominator. The characters are either jerks, idiots, punching bags, bland, or even all of the above. I admit the animation is nice, but good visuals can't make up for bad humor and writing. With all that said, that's why I stick to kids shows. Shows like Gravity Falls have great writing and shows like Mickey Mouse (2013) have great comedy. If you like Brickleberry, that's fine. This is just my opinion.
