    Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
Tedfoldol everything you have heard about this movie is true.
    Comwayon A Disappointing Continuation
Baseshment I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
Tweekums This series opened well enough with protagonist Tomoharu 'Tomo' Natsume being followed around by the ghost of his childhood friend Misao Minakami... it later turns out that she isn't exactly a ghost; she is a 'burial doll' a being which enables Tomo to summon an Asura Machina... to all intents and purposes a mecha which contains Misao when it is summoned... when one sees mechas one knows there is going to be fighting and soon enough it starts. Anybody familiar with this sort of series won't be surprise to learn that Tomo soon has a harem of girls fighting alongside him; each with their own particular magical skills. While watching this I felt I'd seen it all before; the terminology may be different but it was still a school boy and his mostly female friends struggling to save the world by fighting various magical battles. There are some comedy moments which did succeed in raising a laugh although I'd have been happier if the comedy levels had been increased throughout... when things got serious it wasn't so much fun. If you like magic and mechas there is a good chance that you will really enjoy this; if not you'll probably find it has some decent moments but not enough to justify sitting through twenty six episodes!
