Tacticalin An absolute waste of money
Stoutor It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.
Seraherrera The movie is wonderful and true, an act of love in all its contradictions and complexity
Yazmin Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
Peter Finn I don't tend to like most reality shows. I think they're stupid (Flavor of Love, I Love Money) or pointless (Jon and Kate Plus Eight, Keeping Up with the Kardashians). I like horror, and I like a few competition reality shows, so this is right up my alley.Regarding previous comments about many of the contestants being actors: it doesn't necessarily mean the show is staged. A lot of times, aspiring actors will sign up for a reality show in an attempt to kick-start their career.I liked watching this show, but it's too bad that a second season won't be coming around. Hopefully it'll be released on DVD or blu-ray eventually.
ana-filipa-g I have watched the two first episodes and I was impressed with the amount of clichés and bad acting. Yes, acting - I highly doubt that there are naive people signing in for something like that. The fear is obviously unreal, and all that screaming and crying just make the show even worse. I remember one of the girls being afraid of the dark (terrified, it seemed). However, in the middle of the night, she hears a noise, gets up, grabs a lantern and steps out, looking for what caused the noise. Alone. If she's terrified of the dark, how come she's so comfortable wandering around in the woods by herself? Oh, of course, she wasn't alone, there were guys holding cameras. The camera angles are kind of bad too, some tend to remember too much "The Blair Witch Project".Anyway, it's a reality show. Its purpose is merely entertainment. I guess they have reached that goal. Never related to fear, I must say. However, sometimes I giggled with the show.
Myounka This series is ghastly, and not for it's super-violent competitions, but for it's horrible editing and poor camera work. The "execututions" were stereotypical, until the point they had someone drown in toilet water, at that point i knew they had only planned on having 7 episodes. This show was an embarrassment in my opinion, the "cast" consisted of the stereotypical unintelligible middle Americans. How stupid could you be, saying "oh god i almost died!!". It's a TV SHOW. At least on survivor they have enough of a budget to go to tropical places and have a decent prize(13:FiR gave out 66 grand). And when in the history of the USA did someone trap soldiers in a Louisiana fort and make them eat each other... the civil war never had a battle down there, and the Mexican American war(famous for the Alamo) never got that far east of Texas. In all, it was obviously phony, with poor writing, and a poor budget. It was a decent idea that wasn't executed in the slightest.
futuramafan1 When i first watch the show i thought it wouldn't be that good and i was wrong. I'm actually really loving this show right now, i really enjoy the episodes. The execution's are pretty good and same with the things that they have to do in the episode. So its about these 13 people who have to face their deepest fears and the 2 (sometimes 3) people that lose the competitions have to compete in some execution's and the lose gets killed off, and the winner get $66,666. There is also the Death Box that someone can get and they get to become the killer. I think that you should give the show a try and see how you like it. The show airs Wednesdays at 7:00 on CW or you can watch it on CityTv at 8:00 if you do not have cable.Overall: 8.2/10
