Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
InformationRap This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
Janae Milner Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
tomahawkchopper2010 How can anyone watch this abortion of a show and find it funny? I remember when my pal Artie Lange was banned from the show for a tasteless joke he made on Twitter. What shocked me wasn't the fact that he got banned, but was the fact that he agreed to do that awful show in the first place. If you want to give comedians exposure, put on a show where you bring up 4 comics to do a 5 minute set every night. You can let Hardwick host, but the format of @midnight is painful to watch. The jokes are cringeworthy and unfunny.
nina tenten a family member thinks this show is funny and he watches it. i seriously cannot understand it because i thought that family member's ability to appreciate quality humor was intact - but i doubt it now. family member is over 50 years old and i guess he never matured in his humor likes and dislikes. @midnight is the lowest form of humor i have ever seen. totally not funny. compare it to the worst skit ever on Saturday Night Live or the dumbest, bathroom humor ever. losers galore.i will be happy when it is canceled. when it is on, i ignore it. when i glance up at it, i roll my eyes and wonder how in the heck anyone could remotely be entertained by such dreck.
Virginia Rae I've let this show run on my TV numerous times when I've forgotten to change the channel after John Stewart, and yet after multiple viewings and giving it several shots, I've never laughed. Not once. It has never been funny enough to make me laugh. This show is half an hour long. And it's a COMEDY show on comedy central. Have we found some sort of hole in the universe here? How is this show not even funny ONE TIME?? The evening news is usually funny a few times a week, albeit not on purpose. But a comedy show? I understand a few lines will fall flat. But to have every line just not be funny, followed by roars of phony-dialed up laughter from the audience. What is happening. What is life.
Mr-Fusion What makes @MIDNIGHT watchable (to any degree) are the comics featured as contestants. A lot fall flat (for me), but when there's a good panel, this show can be pretty funny. But it moves so haphazardly. For one, Chris Hardwick sounds like he's talking on the clock ("It's11:59and59seconds.THIShappenedonReddittoday:"). He's a likable enough guy, just slow down, man. Two, there's no structure for the scoring system. A comedian gives an answer that amuses Hardwick and he says, "points" – and an arbitrary amount is added to the score. And they move from one minigame to the next at a blistering speed. @MIDNIGHT is what would happen if Twitter had a game show, just as superficial and ideal for the short-attention-span crowd. 5/10
