Reviews
Peereddi I was totally surprised at how great this film.You could feel your paranoia rise as the film went on and as you gradually learned the details of the real situation.
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Keeley Coleman The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
Ariella Broughton It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
muvi-fan-73 We like to watch the show when something in it drives us. For me there was not much, even though John Cena, Jeff Hardy, Brock (a steel cage match), Seth Rollins and Undertaker won and of five, Rollins win was worth praising, he took it hard (a ladder match) and yet he won. Tag team matches were justified and the better team won. This was not enough to have me on edge may be because action was not enough or may be it didn't drive me.Then came Greatest Royal Rumble match, It was not nerve catching, not until forty fifth member arrived. The member was the great Khali, he was eliminated quickly but it really drew me. The other member whose arrival drew me was Shane....forty seventh entry... here comes the money. The two names which shine in Greatest Royal Rumble match were Shane and Braun. I would like to add, Shane has got a heart of wrestler. The Greatest Royal Rumble match ended with Braun as a winner. He was tried to get eliminated by majority acting together, still he won victorious. It was astonishing. The best man won.
bobcobb301 WWE should not be holding events in Saudi Arabia until they make vast improvements in civil rights. Most people acknowledge that, but from a wrestling perspective this was a boring show.No match really stood out and you get better wrestling on their weekly shows Raw and Smackdown.The Greatest Royal Rumble was kind of fun, but far too long. At least the right person won.
powermandan For some reason, WWE has decided to create another Royal Rumble event. This time it is in Saudi Arabia and the match itself will have 50 men instead of the usual 30. The other matches will be for titles and some non-title bouts. And it is also having a WrestleMania length of 5 hours. I like the reach that this had, but when it was actually unfolding I felt so wrong.The first spoiler that is also a bit of a flaw was none of the titles changed hands. All titles are defended but they stay the same. That made the event feel a little off.First match was John Cena vs Triple H. This meaningless match was one I was looking forward to because I loved the other matches they had with each other. This time around, they delivered a total stinker. Johnny wins. 5/10Next up was Cedric Alexander retaining his cruiserweight title against Kalisto. Kalisto outperformed the champion with some insane moves that made the match sweet. 8.5/10Woken Matt and Bray Wyatt retain the Raw tag team title against The Bar. I love both teams, but this match was pretty bad. 5/10Jeff Hardy beats Jinder Mahal for the US title. Jinder can't put on a good match for the life of him and this was no exception. 5.5/10Bludgeon Brothers continue their reign of stinky matches with another bout against the Usos. I liked the Bludgeons before their repackaging and I do like their squash matches. Nothing more. 3.5/10The night was getting saved by the Intercontinental ladder match. Seth Rollins defeats Miz, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe. I honestly liked this match more than the WrestleMania bout. 8/10Aj Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura's fights get worse and worse. And this was for the WWE title! I don't care that it ended in a double count out, it was still a dud. 6.5/10Undertaker makes a return against Rusev in the worst casket match EVER. Because Undertaker is such a sight to behold with his overwhelming star power and respect, my grade it a little higher than I had even expected. 4/10The last normal match was Brock vs Roman in a steel cage for the Universal title. Brock really, really, really needs to drop that title. I don't care if its to Roman or whomever, it just needs to happen for the sake of everyone! Luckily, this was better than the WrestleMania stinker. 5/10Last was the 50 man royal rumble. I am a total sucker for royal rumbles, so this did not disappoint me. So many returns and debuts blew me away. Daniel Bryan now holds the record for longest time spent in a royal rumble match. He entered at number 1 and lasted until 48. I figured they were going to do a Chris Benoit or Shawn Michaels with him. He was definitely the star of the match with his chest getting the better of him. Braun Strowman won. At least the victor was deserving, so I wasn't mad at the outcome. 10/10There was one amazing moment during the rumble when Titus O'Neil was running to the ring but tripped almost completely underneath the ring. Many replays of that happened afterwards. Best botch since Booker T called Hulk Hogan the n-word in WCW. It was the moment of the night. So that moment brings up the overall grade of the night to 7/10
