Michael_Elliott Vincent Price: My Life and Crimes (1994) *** 1/2 (out of 4)This documentary will be a must see for fans of actor Vincent Price as he sits down with film historian David Del Valle and the two go through his career. We hear about his early days on films such as TOWER OF London and THE INVISIBLE MAN RETURNS and from here we get to hear Price talk about where he wanted his career to go. From here we cover countless horror films including the Corman-Poe films, HOUSE OF WAX, THE MAD MAGICIAN, THE LAST MAN ON EARTH and several others. Also covered are stories about working with Charles Bronson, Boris Karloff, Peter Lorre, Peter Cushing and Lon Chaney, Jr..Obviously Price is one of the landmarks of the horror genre and he also managed to work with all of the other legends. He tells some great stories about those men including some rather sad ones in regards to Lorre and Chaney. This documentary does a great job at going through Price's career and there's no question that Del Valle does a nice job with his questions. This here clocks in at 51- minutes and one wishes it was five times longer but there's no question that it's a must- see for fans of the actor.
