Reviews
Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
Rio Hayward All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Sabah Hensley This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
Taha Avalos The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
giovenosta If you liked L'armata Brancaleone you shouldn't miss this very rare hidden gem of medieval depiction. Acted by Franco Parenti, Carmelo Bene (weirdly and unfortunately dubbed) and Giancarlo Dettori, three "giants" of the Italian drama at their best, this movie was originally shot for the television (5 episodes), then reduced to a shorter version for the screen. A complete unsuccess, of course... But very seldom you can find such a delightfully detailed representation of the (Italian) middle age, garnished with really smart, harsh and sometime funny and grotesque dialogues written by Luigi Malerba & Tonino Guerra, two top-notch writers of that period. These three "masks" remind me to some Kurosawa's characters, full of tragedy and compassion. When Italian public TV still took risks, without worrying about audience "response". Times probably gone forever. Soudtrack by Ennio Morricone, with Egisto Macchi & Giorgio Nataletti.
