Ariella Broughton It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
guil fisher This leading lady was annoying from beginning to the end. Her voice made me cringe. As if she were 10 years old. Her bug eyes also didn't help. She went through the entire movie with this look of surprise. As if she saw a ghost. I had no empathy for her at all because she was such a bad choice for a rather inept script. Most of the remaining cast went through their blocking and lines as though they were in a trance. Not a redeeming value to this terrible movie. Waste of time. Hope you didn't have to pay to see this silly film. I haven't mentioned names of the cast, director, writer or producer in respect of hoping they have learned by their own mistakes and not to do something like this to the public again. And please, take this off the air. It doesn't represent LMN at their best nor worst.
rkasano I just watched this movie on lifetime 9/19/14. I was yelling at the TV practically the whole movie! Her whole case should've been thrown out of court! She wasn't properly mirandized! She's questioned by the officers in interrogation, she asks to call her husband, next thing you know they tell her that her bond is $500,000 and they are locking her up! Her lawyer was a joke and should've known that right from the beginning. Another thing! She was the wife of a police officer! She didn't have any knowledge of correct police procedures. Seems like her husband taught her nothing about how to handle police matters or correct procedures. She should've told her lawyer that she wasn't properly mirandized and any evidence obtain thereafter would be thrown out. In fact, the whole case should've been thrown out on a technicality! Her husbands behavior seemed off to me. He seemed like he didn't really care if she went to prison. I suspected him at first. I was correct that he was screwing around. Anyway, had to get this off my chest!
wes-connors Dental office clerk Danica McKellar (as Ellen) is taking a course in "pole dancing" at night, to liven up a limp sex life with police officer husband Carter MacIntyre (as Mike). Strangely, no scenes from the pole dancing class are shown. In the opening, a woman is attacked by a hooded figure, under a shady parking structure. Because she parked there, Ms. McKellar is found, questioned and quickly charged with the crime. She is thrown in jail with a cell-mate who wants to "cuddle." According to the title, which also identifies this story as a variation on Alfred Hitchcock's "The Wrong Man" (1956), McKellar is not guilty. "I'm not a criminal," she explains, "I work in a dentist's office." That may not be her best defense, but it makes as much sense as anything in this silly story. "The Wrong Woman" is so full of mistakes and misconceptions, it's more fun to watch it for that than any other reason.**** The Wrong Woman (12/28/13) Richard Gabai ~ Danica McKellar, Jonathan Bennett, Jim O'Heir, Carter MacIntyre
katwatsonnumber1 This movie was extremely disappointing. Danica McKellar's performance was weak and annoying. Her voice was not strong, even before she was charged with a crime. Even in the supposed every day life she seemed weak and unsure. That made it difficult to watch from the start. She was poorly cast. Even had the character been played and someone unsure of themselves, the actor should have a stronger voice. There was no righteous indignation, something that would generally been seen in a suspect making McKellar, as the main character, poorly cast.I would not recommend this movie under any condition. We couldn't watch it through to the end because of the poor unbelievable script and the poor acting. This is one of the worst movies we have seen in ages. The poorly written script, poorly cast characters, poor acting coupled with very weak performances along with unbelievable character behavior makes this the dud of the year. There are a lot of good movies out there. Don't waste your time with this.
