The Warped Forest Trailers

Settle into your chair and be transported to a place both familiar and alien; where a giant shop-girl can barely fit in her store, there's a weird green pod in every bedroom, and terrifying wood nymphs provide a heartbroken woman with the anatomically correct fruit everyone seems to covet. In the end we are left, like Alice, with the Red King's conundrum: are we dreaming them or are they dreaming us?

Reviews
Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
WillSushyMedia This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
Myron Clemons A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
PKazee This follow-up to FUNKY FOREST: THE FIRST CONTACT was directed by Shunichiro Miki, one of the three credited co-directors of that earlier film, and the influence of co-director Katsuhito Ishii (THE TASTE OF TEA) can be felt here too. Though nearly indescribable, WARPED is actually more cohesive than FUNKY was, somehow managing to include variations on all of the very best elements of the earlier film without ever being a retread. The story involves three trios of characters whose odd story lines all intersect, but come on... the story is mostly just an excuse for presenting a display of the directors wild imagination, so instead of talking about story, let's checklist that: People co-existing with giants inside tiny homes? Check! Odd fruits with penile-nipples and toothy-vagina's? Check! An Atari-like low-tech space gun that shoots lazy jism from a flaccid organic wee-wee that projects itself out of the tip of the guns barrel? Check! Check! Check!
