The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

This is a gorgeous movie made by a gorgeous spirit.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

The true meaning of Christmas IS this movie!I remember watching it on TV back in 2001 with my little daughter (who is over 25 now). I didn't care for it back then, but ever since the 2010s have started, I've become more accepting towards everything and everyone and began to watch romantic comedy films of my own free will. I'm a new man thanks to this movie. I know it will touch your heart, just like it touched mine 16 years after it's release.Note, that this was made in 2001, so if you only like modern-day movies this is not for you. Believe it or not, 2001 is nearing on being 20 years ago! I know many people don't accept that it is technically the olden days now. I didn't either until last year. Thanks to this wonder of a family film, I've changed my mind though. I used to hate this movie, but I was much younger and much more foolish back in those days. Now go on and experience the magic that is The Sons of Mistletoe!

BEWARE OF FALSE REVIEWS & REVIEWERS. SOME REVIEWERS HAVE ONLY ONE REVIEW TO THEIR NAME. NOW WHEN ITS A POSITIVE REVIEW THAT TELLS ME THEY WERE INVOLVED WITH THE MOVIE. IF ITS A NEGATIVE REVIEW THEN THEY MIGHT HAVE A GRUDGE AGAINST THE FILM . I HAVE REVIEWED OVER 200 HOLIDAY FILMS. I HAVE NO AGENDA.This Christmas film is a winner. George Newbern and Roma Downey star and after all these years I still hope they will do some other film together. In this film The Sons of Mistletoe boy's orphanage is a happy place. Run by the charismatic Jimmy Adams (George Newbern, Father of the Bride), the home has become one big family. But when its largest benefactor dies and leaves the orphanage to his daughter, Helen Radke (Roma Downey, TV's Touched by an Angel), Jimmy worries about funding, especially as the old house begins to show its wear. Just when it appears that Ms. Radke is going to pull the plug on her father's investment, a Christmas miracle changes everything. This film channels the Disney films of the 1960's & 1970's. George Newbern has an effortless charm that makes this film a standout.

I love this movie. It is very heartwarming and a movie that makes you feel good about people.Great to see Roma Downey in a movie,I love her in Touched By An Angel.Any fan of hers will surely enjoy watching this movie. It is one that I will watch and enjoy many times in the future. If you like Lifetime movies or Hallmark movies,I think you would enjoy this movie. A movie everyone in the family can watch. I would recommend this movie as one to be enjoyed during the holidays. If you have not seen it,watch it when it is shown on TV,I think you will enjoy it.A small town with some great people in it to bring out the best in each other.Just a real feel good type movie that makes you smile after watching.

Nothing special, but a cute little movie for the Christmas season. It's about a Foster Home endangered by the new land lady. It is comical with a touch of drama. -->> AAA, OH YES, ROMANCE!! Yes!, > You will see this as well. This movie is ok, but NOTHING SPECIAL!
