Matylda Swan It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Chromium_5 "The Passion According to Berenice" is an interesting, detailed character study, with great performances by everyone involved, but ultimately worth watching for Martha Navarro. Her character is one that you won't soon forget: quiet, polite, sensitive, and, in the end, downright scary. Her detached personality makes it almost impossible to tell what she is thinking at any given moment, and this cold ambiguity makes her as memorable a character as, say, Hannibal Lecter. The talented director is very creative and puts in lots of small details that may or may not be important later on. It's an overlooked (in America, anyway) gem of a film that shouldn't be missed if you ever get a chance to watch it.
