Reviews
Numerootno A story that's too fascinating to pass by...
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Kayden This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
kusummer There is a Grosset and Dunlap book out on this presumably lost Paramount film with six plates which I recently rediscovered in preparation for a garage sale. The frontispiece shows close-up of Fay Wray and a young Gary Cooper. Unfortunately, the nice copy is without its original dust jacket. This book has a 1928 copyright on it and probably was intended to be a promotional title for the marketing of this film which came out while the Wings film was still circulating. Whether this film is truly a lost film, I don't know, but if it is this book with its plates will help to add to the history of this secondary film.
