You won't be disappointed!

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

I saw this as part of The Belfast Film Festival event "Soiled Shorts" and I loved every second of it. Obviously its very tongue in cheek, and the acting is purposefully hammy, but hands up who's ever seen a monster made of old video machines? Nope, not me, and it was fantastically done. The (short) film has a distinctly retro feel, which is all very intentional. Set in an old video store (which it confirms at the end really exists) it's a tale of the digital online giants trying to destroy The Last Video Store. There's a few quite Astron6 style scenes in there, and I don't want to give away how the monster is destroyed, but this was a fun ten minutes for me and I enjoyed too trying to see how many of those titles on the wall of the shop I own myself haha.
