The Image Trailers

When career-focused journalist's investigation indirectly causes a suicide, he questions his own methods and life in general.

Reviews
Diagonaldi Very well executed
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
TaryBiggBall It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.
Leoni Haney Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.
George Parker "The Image" sticks Finney in the spotlight as a workaholic investigative reporter/anchor whose career is soaring while his personal life takes a nose dive. Obviously fabricated with everyone too glib and no one behaving like real people, "The Image" tries to make some vague points about ethics vs morality and matters of conscience in journalism during its futile attempt to conjure up the pressure cooker atmosphere of "Broadcast News". Little more than a marginal small screen watch for needy sofa spuds. (C-)Note - Look for a bit part by a young Brad Pitt.
