The childhood of the young Orthodox priest Dmitry passed back in Soviet times, which was reflected in his upbringing and development, because he had to grow up between two fires. The most dear and close people were divided into believers and atheists. Having reached the age of majority, he decides to become a priest. On the path of life, he encounters anger, pity, mistrust and pain, but firmly believes in his ideals. This helps him to bring goodness and peace in his ministry and in worldly life, to help and give hope to desperate people. But one day, evil from the past overtakes Dmitry himself. What will happen when the priest himself faces the main question in his life?

Reviews
Mabel Munoz Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?
Sammy-Jo Cervantes There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
Kirandeep Yoder The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.
Paynbob It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
