Reviews
Fluentiama Perfect cast and a good story
ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
Plustown A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
Myron Clemons A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
ricedanielle Le carton is a low budget french comedy about a man who attempts to move out of his apartment in short notice. All of the comedy occurs mostly when him and his friends attempt to get him out.Much of the comedy in this film is like those that I have seen in the local movie theater back at home . It relies on over stretched truths, overly done actions and body movements like falling, ridiculous fights, smashing coffee beans with a pot and getting stuck in odd places. This film was funny to watch and entertaining however it seemed not much different then some of those Adam Sandler movies. The film is simply just easygoing... A no brainer there is no thinking involved when watching this. It's simply meant to be watched and laughed at when jokes and funny moments are given to you.
natikganiy Watched it on a flight from Paris. Simple story, yet very funny. Hero's mishaps were a bit overstretched at times, but overall, it wasn't too bad. Nice selection of characters. The actors are quite young, and did a good job performing their roles. I'd call this movie "easily digestible." Not exhausting, doesn't involve much brain work. My rating: Recommend. For those, who're gonna see this flick: my favorite part is the Vincent character hiding in the box. don't wanna tell more - not to ruin it for you.2/7/05
jchantefort I did not expect much from a low budget French movie with a cast of relative newcomers. The plot is very simple. A guy has to move out in a day, completely unprepared, and drive his mum to the airport.Completely stressed out, he calls his friends for help. Short notice however results in all his friends making it with an agenda of their own.The comic is mostly situation (quiproquo), but had me in stitched on quite a few occasions. The actors act simple and natural and sends us back to the careless days of students move.I will not give away the numerous twists of the story however some Bulgarian model is involved in a photoshoot, various items of furnitures thrown out the window and some poor dog smashed by a fridge (not shown sadly!)
