Laikals The greatest movie ever made..!
Cleveronix A different way of telling a story
KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
prav20084282 This movie is always going to be close to my heart coz i come from d same kind of backdrop where my father sacrificed everything for d well being of me and my brother ....... This movie best depicts a typical South Indian middle class father who is determined 2 bring up his sons and who is ready 2 sacrifice for their future ........ The Beauty of this movie is no one is acting in this movie everyone lived as a character in dis movie thats what makes it so special ....... it remembers me of my dad and his struggles to rise me ...... LOVE U DAD ....... THANK U FOR EVERYTHING.......And Finally worth watch movie if u want to understand Ur Daddy ..........
naganathas Cheran, the director had beautifully narrated the story of a common man. Excellent movie to watch. This is the best movie of Cheran. Cheran need not to take another movie to prove his mettle for movie making. This itself proves his talent. This movie is a classic movie and need to be protected for the future audience to know the culture and heritage of the society.Rajkiran, Saranya and all the actors and actress acted performed well. You wont think they are acting. It looks like the real story happening in front of you. The camera work will give you the above said feel. The music is blended well. The "Koothu" - folk dance in the movie also touched my heart. Good movie.
mailmee-3 Another masterpiece from Cheran (Director of Autograph). I can't help wondering how Cheran took this subject. The main story is nothing but a 30 years life story of an ordinary man and his family. Its hard to find a movie so real and true to heart.Raj Kiran is the main character in this film. This film is surely an life time achievement for him. Raj Kiran runs a printing press in the movie and has two sons who he needs to bring up. How he brings up the two children sacrificing everything he has and how his children reciprocate for his gestures is the story of the film. Cheran plays the role of the second son with much ease. Many portions of the cinema would look as if shot in a candid camera (looks just real) and not as if someones acting from the script. Music is unobtrusive.Though the film wouldn't bore you, it would have been better if the film had been cut to 2 1/2 hours or so.Definitely an amazing film and another masterpiece from Cheran.
