This is the story of two Americans visiting Kurdistan from the time of the Iraqi Referendum in 2005 to the present in a brave attempt to make sense of it all. Football stadium squatters in Kirkuk, rebel groups in the mountains, smugglers on the Iranian border and massive demonstrations in southern Turkey.
