Anand L Rai has become one of my favourite directors! Himanshu sharma and Anand L Rai are the best in the business!
The story is So amazing you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll smile...
Kangana Ranaut has done perfection with both her roles!
No other actress would have done justice to the role!

I did not really feel up to watching Tanu Weds Manu Returns as I felt that Kangana Ranaut is somewhat stereotyped in such roles and it is tiresome to watch beyond a certain number of such movies.Last night I had nothing better to do and Tanu Weds Manu Returns was playing on TV. It was the best of the movies on offer and so I ended up watching. I'm glad I did as it was, rather is, a very good movie indeed. The movie begins dramatically with Manu stuck in a loony bin, having been driven there by Tanu's ways. Kangana plays a double role and she plays both characters very well indeed. All the actors are superb but this is really Kangana's movie for the double role. The cinematography and the sets are beautifully real. There is never a dull moment as the story unfolds with its quirks, humour and several poignant moments. I do not intend to write a spoiler so suffice it to say that this movie is really very good and well worth watching.

Genre: Romantic-Comedy Cast: Kangana Ranaut, R Madhavan, Deepak Dobriyal, Swara Bhaskar Director: Aanand L RaiWhat's it about: The movie is about the unhappy married life of Tanu (Kangana Ranaut) and Manu (R. Madhavan). It it about how Manu reassure her husband after getting divorce. What's Good: Tanu Weds Manu Returns is a non-stopentertainer from start to finish. It is a total delight that keeps you laughing, sighing, cheering - and guessing throughout. Kangana Ranaut is spectacular as Haryana's state level athlete. She seamlessly shifts between Tanu and Kusum and you would actually believe they are two different people. Accent, acting style is totally differ in both role. This movie could make the Kangana the Khan of Bollywood.Manu play good role of being a husband. As Tanu was arrogant, he decided to leave herand marry with Kusum. But finally Tanu convinced Manu not to marry with Kusum.

Sequels are the IN thing as they say, but this one was written badly. There was a freshness with the original TWM and it was really very entertaining. This one left me clueless until the end of the movie about what exactly the movie was all about? Falling in and out of love is shown as a joke. Travelling to London and back, getting admitted to a mental asylum and getting discharged at will, marriages fixed and broken with all the guests in etc. are something not understood.Family members of the lead actors are just there for the sake of it in the movie without having a say in anything at all apart from picking their bags and travelling to places of marriage. Overall story line and execution was a terrible recipe for disaster. Surprised actually with so many good reviews. May be I am asking for too much. This one has thumbs down from me.
