After that, things get silly.Producer George Kleine had been importing Italian slapstick comedies, but World War One had reduced the supply, so he made his own. Italian slapstick was particularly vicious, so he recruited ex-circus clown and Ziegfeld star Harry Watson Jr. for the role of Musty Suffer, the most disgusting and funny film series of the era. Although in this one, Musty does not get his head sawn off, there is plenty of very rough slapstick that, once you stop goggling, will make you laugh uproariously.
