Absolutely amazing

a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

Folks should be aware that Red Letter Media's 'Space Cop' project is a compendium of inside jokes accumulated over almost a decade. Thus it is entertaining and satisfying to followers of the group (and their excellent reviews), but it will not stand on its own as a movie that outsiders would enjoy. Those complaining about the cost bemuse me, as it's not clear why they purchased a Blu-Ray of a film they knew nothing about -- but I'm sure Red Letter Media values the financial support (which can help them keep making their insightful reviews).

You can't make a 'so bad it's good' movie on purpose and have it be good. Jay Bauman and Mike Stoklassa said that but I guess they both forgot about it. Space Cop is a comedy that manages to not land 99% of it's jokes. Pure non-medy as Rich Evans would put it. This movie is utterly miserable to watch. An exercise at ironic detachment, too afraid to have even a single moment showcasing genuine vision or ambition or at least effort and passion. With this excrement of a movie,RLM joins the ranks of countless other youtuber movie critics who can criticize other people's genuine attempts at entertainment/art but are too afraid themselfs to make anything other then an overlong&unfunny youtube skit, masquerading as something cinematic. Where did all that money earned from Patreon go? To fund their alcoholism probably. But hey you too can pay 25$ for a Blu-Ray copy of this movie and watch a testament of contempt these losers have towards the audience that allowed them be youtube celebs for a living! STAYFARAWAY/10

Space Cop (2016) is the biggest piece of schlock I have ever seen. The hack-frauds who made this movie are just puppets of the industry. They couldn't even get Rich Evans to work. He was the key to everything. I will say that the shots were fascinating and dense, there was so much going on. All jokes aside, this movie was extremely disappointing for me. I am a huge fan of RedLetterMedia and I had high hopes for the level of garbage the film would present. It was extremely hard to get through and it became annoying really quickly. The type of humor present was expected, but dear God it was really painful. Some of the one-liners were witty, but most of them were really poorly executed. The whole thing was at least competently made, and I can give them credit for at least trying as hard as they could when it came to structuring their film. Other than that, 'Space Cop' is a poor attempt at a "so bad it's good" flick, to the point where it is just pure mediocrity.

Where does one begin. There is a scene about 30 minutes in where Space Cop gets spammed with popups in his helmets visor. He continues to run around blindly for what seemed like 14 minutes. He bashed into things and there was awful music playing the ENTIRE time. The awful music is overused in every scene. The guy from the past CANNOT act, he reminded me of a terrible high school stage actor who thought he was imitating Corey Feldman when I was a kid. The best part of the entire movie is when Space Cop struggles with the plant on the Lunar Colony before it blows up. They have glimmers of hope early on but this should have been a 10 minute short, they simply can't hold on for 90 minutes. What is more disturbing about this movie is that I believe its existence nullifies their satirical take on movies from this time forward. Why do I want to listen to people bitch about movies as though they know what they're talking about when in truth they are talentless hacks. 1 star Worst purposefully bad movie I've ever seen.
