In Palos Verdes, CA in 1975, private investigator James Miller (Christian Vierling) witnesses the murder of an attorney involved in a bizarre case connected to a surfer gang known as the Lunada Bay Boys. Attempting to stray away from his traditional adultery cases and make his mark on the world of skip tracing, James reunites with his old college buddy Matthew (Oliver Cooper) in hopes of cracking this peculiar case.
