A mock educational film demonstrates the threat penguins face due to the hole in the ozone layer.

Reviews
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Darin One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
MartinHafer I just got back from my annual pilgrimage to the theater to see the Academy Award nominated shorts and I must say that I was a confusing year. Three of the nominees were amazingly poor--so poor that I heard a lot of folks in the theater grumbling about this. Fortunately, the final two nominees were exceptional. Then, like the last few years, they shows some shorts that were not nominated but were sort of like 'honorable mentions'. This year, all of these non-nominated films were superior to these three nominees--and "Skylight" was the best of them. Now I am NOT implying that "Skylight" is a brilliant film or that it will change your life. It's NOT an amazing piece of art, but it IS one important thing...FUNNY. After listening to all the people grumbling earlier in the show, it was a wonderful relief to hear everyone chuckling about "Skylight"--a funny and very creative film. The film purports to be a film about the hole in the ozone. However, it turns out that it's NOT some heavy-handed documentary about the environment and consists of LOTS of animals exploding. I know it sounds dreadful and mean--but you just have to see it. And, see ALL of this film as the credits are the best part! A truly hilarious little film without pretenses--just laughs.
