Reviews
StunnaKrypto Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.

SparkMore n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.
mraculeated The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.
Ana Amelia Separações begins in a restaurant and ends in the same place. There, we have almost all characters together. Until the end, they are basically in search for love, despite sometimes it's not admitted. The main couple, Cabral and Glorinha, is surrounded by friends and family living the four steps of their separation: denying, negotiation, rebellion and accepting. They were married for twelve years, but one day he asks Glorinha to quit the relationship for some time. When she's away, working on a friend's play, and with another guy, Cabral realizes he could not live without her. Glorinha gets in doubt: she keeps on in a new relationship, she chooses her freedom, or she gets back do Cabral, who she still might love. With a bitter-funny plot, and perhaps putting some autobiographical facts on it, Domingos de Oliveira makes a good romantic comedy.
Felipe Ferreira A very romantic, yet funny and witty, film about people like us making mistakes on love matters. Rio de Janeiro is the only possible scenery to such a bitter-sweet comedy about an old man and its adorable childish way to affirm his passion to his companion. Along with the troubled couple a bunch of funny and lovely characters helps the story to turn into an encounter of real life with real amusement in an Woodyallenish way.
