Reviews
Perry Kate Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
AboveDeepBuggy Some things I liked some I did not.
Dotbankey A lot of fun.
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
corrosion-2 St.Petersburg is one of the few genuinely funny films made in Iran in last few years which delivers laughs through a first rate script full of memorable dialog and clever situations.A couple of drifters come upon a dying old man in the street who whispers to them the existence of a treasure from the Tsar's era somewhere in Tehran. The rest of the film concerns the hilarious attempts of these two to find the treasure and their continuous attempts to con each other. The script by veteran script writer Pemyan Ghasemkhani (who plays one of the drifters) is first class and the direction by Afkhami is inventive, milking maximum laughs from every opportunity. A sequel is already on the way!
