“Safety First!” is a story of two young couples, who try to hook up one night, during COVID. Everything works against them, including some very crazy characters, but the need for love is too strong.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
