Reviews
Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Roy Hart If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
otto23_99 As a public school teacher since 1992, I watched this documentary with much interest. I wanted to see how the experiences of these 'captive' students and their teachers paralleled what I experience everyday, and I was also curious as to what types of skills the teachers would stress in their classrooms. Would they stress the 'three Rs'? Would they show the kids how to apply for jobs? I like documentaries as a whole, and I liked this one very much, because I could see how someone not in the field of education would be interested in the stories the filmmaker was presenting to them. I won't ruin the film for anyone who hasn't seen it, but suffice it to say that my eyes have been opened to the educational plight of kids in the legal system.
