Village belle Sarita falls in love with young and dashing Ramesh, gets married to him, and re-locates to the city. Once in the city, Ramesh takes her to a brothel, and asks her to wait for him for a few days. Unknown to her, Ramesh has sold her to brothel madame, Champabai, for a hefty fee.

2freensel I saw this movie before reading any reviews, and I thought it was very funny. I was very surprised to see the overwhelmingly negative reviews this film received from critics.

Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.

ChanFamous I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.
