Rocker Pete Jones is in trouble. He’s solo in his personal and professional life and he can’t seem to finish his long-awaited album. Threatened with bankruptcy and a lawsuit from his label, Pete turns to his lost love and former producer-turned-radio-reporter Laura Klein for help. Together, they form an eclectic group of musicians who have never met to create a band, for one day and one day only.

Reviews
Ploydsge just watch it!
Beystiman It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Roy Hart If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
MovieHoliks You may not know him by name, but chances are you will recognize the star of this film, John Doe, who's been grazing major Hollywood productions on film and television in supporting roles going back to his part as rocker Jerry Lee Lewis's cousin-turned-father-in-law in '89's "Great Balls of Fire". In this good little indie flick, he takes the starring role. Haven been front man for the group "X", he uses his musical talent to fuel this character, also participating in the music for the film. And O-M-G!- that sexy voice kept sticking out at me, and I noticed her name in the cast, but it took me til the end of the film to realize THAT is Aimee Mann, of the '80s group Til Tuesday! The only other thing I can ever think of her acting in was that little part as that nihilist who contributes her toe in "The Big Lebowski"..?? LOLWell, anyway, I enjoyed the performances, and the music- and the philosophy and collaborative effort that goes into creating a studio recording. The one scene says it best- when Mann says to Doe something like- you enjoy this part the best (time in the studio creating the project, rather than the finished project itself...).
