Phobos. Fear Kills Trailers

Rainy summer evening... Young people are arriving at the new trendy club named Phobos which is still under construction. Or re-construction - since it's a former bomb shelter which is reconstructed to become a club. At first, the party sees nothing wrong, but soon the bunker doors turn out to be locked, and the teenagers get trapped underground without light and communication. At first, all of them are joking and do not realize how dangerous their situation is. Then they get frightened. All of them will need to cope with their fears before the bunker will let them free.

Reviews
Solemplex To me, this movie is perfection.
TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
Brennan Camacho Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
Sienna-Rose Mclaughlin The movie really just wants to entertain people.
TdSmth5 Phobos (Greek for fear) is the name of a club to be opened where the arrogant owner, a crooked contractor, an honest foreman, a druggie DJ, and a couple of girls meet. The club once was a WII bunker and below that there are is a mine. The clumsy DJ accidentally presses a red button setting in motion the bunker's security. Now all the kids are trapped and have to find a way out. In addition to secured doors, there are traps, mines and other dangers that imperil their lives. But there is more. One of the girls with an interest in the supernatural notices that being in this condition brings to surface all the fears of the kids: fire, contaminants, water, corpses. And that something or someone in the bunker feeds off those fears and creates conditions to scare them to death. All of them will have to face their fears, initially unknowingly and then on purpose in the hopes of calming the dark forces in the bunker. But not even that is enough. When it all seems hopeless the movie reaches its surprising resolution. This is an excellent production, with good visuals and sound. The acting seems fine. The characters are all good, the DJ in particular is a funny guy. One oddity was that in the version that I saw, the subtitles included literally paragraphs of tiny text on the screen, instead of just sticking to 1-2 lines. The story is OK and for a while it's interesting because you want to find out what it's all about. It does get somewhat tedious because nothing serious happens. There is one death at the beginning and then at 1 hour and 6 minutes things get serious. Worst of all is the ending, a surprise but not the kind one wants- rather the one ending that will make any moviegoer be disappointed. The movie is enjoyable while it's going, it gets tiring eventually, and disappointing in the end.
