David Brown This review contains spoilers.A private investigator (C.C. Costigan) takes on a case involving a missing male model. It pulls her into a subculture of sex clubs, sex parties, prostitution, and rich people. In addition to C.C., there is Regina Russell and several other attractive women. Sounds like the perfect setup for a great softcore movie, right? Unfortunately, this was pathetic. What happened to the Surrender I knew and loved? There are five sex scenes, and I am using a really liberal definition of "sex scene" here. One of them was appallingly short and two of them were just plain bad. The other two were decent, but not very memorable. Fortunately, the two decent ones were C.C. and Regina's scenes, so this thing wasn't a total waste. The longest scene lasted about four minutes and they spent most of that just removing each other's clothes. There was also a "masturbation" scene involving C.C.. It's very short and she stays in her bra and panties the whole time. Whoop dee doo.I'm guessing there are people who will find this movie very hot. These people have probably also been in a coma since 1952. For the rest of us, this is just a cure for insomnia. I don't recommend this one.
Clayton Moore For a Skinamax type of film, not too bad. You get to see plenty of C.C. Costigan (but not all if you know what I mean, Vern). C.C. Costigan and Regina Russell run a small detective agency hired by Samantha Phillips to find a missing actor. The kidnapping plot actually is done fairly well. Some of the girls have a bit of mileage but are quite attractive (for all you lonely solitary men whose apartment may or may not contain a chicken). The plot I would rate 8/10, cast (girls) 6/10, sex 6/10 and overall production values 8/10. The film seems a bit choppy but for soft-core I would give it an overall rating of 7/10. This might be the kind of movie to watch with your girlfriend without her throwing you out and burning all your stuff in the street. Good strong female leads with some nice romance. One last note, Miss Costigan is quite attractive and I hope she continues her film career.
lucky0007 Did you know that the Private dick and the super star are married. When I found this out I knew why the love scene between them was so hot. I liked it so much that I had to buy the tape. You know for those lonely nights. This movie is a must see.
warrior-21 I rented this movie thinking this would be a piece of a garbage that would probably put me to sleep from boredom from acting and scenes. Well, I was pleasantly surprised with some pretty good acting and a little variety in scenes and scenarios. The story revolves around a P.I.(detective agency) in case you were wondering and of course steamy cases involving lots of money. The comedy is between some of the characters behaviors and the scenes may be seem stupid, but watch closely to understand the whole circle of the movie. No, this movie is no Oscar pick and there is lots of nudity, but this movie has an above average plot. This movie is good for the single person or for the couple, so this movie should be considered a must-see. The reason that I am not saying much about the movie because I do not want to take anything away from it.
