addheeraj Director Fazil is known for his family based sentimental dramas. Pappayude Swantham Appoos is a movie of this genre. It revolves around the relationship between Appus(Master Bahudshah)and his papa(Mammooty), a widower. Into their life comes a girl Meenakshi (Seena dadi) and the rest of the movie revolves on these three characters.What makes the simple story work is great direction ,script and acting especiallly by Mammooty and Bahudshah. The songs of the film are classics and pictuarised very well.The highlight of the movie is the last half hour which has mammooty at his finest... on the negative side the movie is sometimes melodramatic.Recommended
