Os Maridos Traem... e as Mulheres Subtraem Trailers

Two friends live without knowing a most awkward situation: each one is the lover of the other's wife. Jealous, they hire the same private eye to track their women, who, of course, gets very embarassed by the situation, especially when the two couples rent rooms at the same hotel.

Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Micah Lloyd Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.
Orla Zuniga It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
garciamorrone A plot about adultery - a very common thing in our modern world, where two couples (one husband being his friend's woman lover and vice-versa) hire the services of a clumsy detective played by José Vasconcelos (a very competent Brazilian comedian, in my humble opinion), then all the mess is made, bringing good moments of laughing for the watcher. The beginning of the movie is a tribute to silent movies, and then a very creative comedy is made, beating down any soap opera you've ever watched (especially more recent ones). On purpose, there is a scene when they make a joke using soap opera as theme. It worths to see the movie because of the good plot, the good humor of José Vasconcelos with a very good cast, among them, Mario Benvenutti, one of the greatest Brazilian movie actors of all time (who acted in masterpieces such as "Noite Vazia", directed by Walter Hugo Khouri) and Guy Loup (presented as Isabel Cristina) one of the most beautiful women of that times, who became a religious Umbanda priestess, several years later. Have fun with this good picture!
