One Six Right Trailers

An exhilarating documentary film that celebrates the unsung hero of aviation - the local airport - by tracing the life, history, and struggles of an airport icon: Southern California's Van Nuys Airport. Featuring thrilling aerial photography and a sweeping original score, the film dispels common misconceptions and opposes criticism of General Aviation airports.

Reviews
Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
Matylda Swan It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
brentslane 16R is a tremendous documentary/film looking at aviation via one of the worlds most notable general aviation airport. From the camera work to editing and terrific visuals, this film really captures the curiosity and awe that you would experience being in the cockpit of the aircraft they portray.Paired with 'Living in the Age of Airplanes' you'll find a new appreciation for aviation.
Bob Taylor I won't go into superlatives, they've already been said better than I could do, shy of just repeating them! This movie is outstanding. If ever there were a video that makes a person want to go to the airport and fly ANYWHERE this is it. The image quality is wonderful, composition great. My only regret is that the shots of flying don't last longer. Next film, just put the cameras in the airplanes and do what you did here, but more so! The musical soundtrack is evocative...order the CD for the home, car, or aircraft CD players. Close your eyes (at home only!) and it will take you flying. Brian and the crew did a wonderful job...thanks for not giving up when you had early lack of support. I'm eager to see what flying adventures Brian and his crew will take us on next.
skyblupink04 As a pilots wife (he flies the 777 for Continental Airlines) it's not always easy to compete with his love of all things airworthy and airborne. Watching One Six Right and the other films made by this outstanding team, has brought me a greater understanding of my husbands love of aviation, and in fact, has brought me closer to my husband.I think this wonderful movie should be required viewing for anyone considering a career in flying. Ya gotta love it to keep it alive! I also think a lot of aviators wives would gain a better understanding of their partners if they too took a look. It's true you know; the engine may be the heart of the airplane, but the Pilot is the soul! With great thanks for an outstanding video, Lori Lamb Peoria, AZ
Steve Fremgen I have now been flying for 44 years; I was the kid sitting at the local flying field, trolling for rides when I was young. That love of flight has always been part of my being, but something that was very difficult to tell others exactly how I felt when I went aloft. From the classic Cub to the heavy iron of sophisticated airplanes, the thrill of flight is always there. One of my favorite airliners was always the DC-3, its sleek lines always beckoned me to the cockpit. Today, I revel in the scents of an airplane exhaust and the freshly-mown grass fields where airplanes truly belong. NOW, I can show this video to others and they can feel the love of flight, something that pilots everywhere can share. Thanks for making this video; we need more like this one.
